Method Description:
Samples are rehydrated then incubated for 36±1°C for 18-24 hrs. Samples are then pipetted into two different selective broth solutions. These are then incubated and different temperatures for 18-24 hours. Both of the selective broth solutions are streaked on two different selective media plates and incubated at 36±1°C for 18-24 hrs and 40-48 hrs. suspected positive are then taken and streaked not two further selective media plates and incubated at 36±1°C for 18-24hrs. Finally the suspected positives are confirmed using an API kit.
